Americana Motel

Built in 1959 by the Lurvey's (of Lurvey's Tourist Court) and managed by Burt Luvey's twin daughters Jean and Joan Lurvey. Additions to the original structure were made in 1968 increasing the capacity from the original 11 rooms. In August of 1980 it was rebranded to the Flagship Motel, the name which it continues to operate under to this day.

The flagship motel continues to operate, and aside from the branding and new sign, generally looks the same as it always has. Although not likely to draw very many Route 66 roadies, the Flagship seems safe from destruction for now.
