Hotel Elms(often also called the Elms Hotel) of Springfield Missouri (not to be confused with the infinitely more popular The Elms Hotel of Excelsior Springs!) was a 30 (later 32) room hotel. Built in the 1880s and originally the home of a wealthy candy manufacturer, it was converted into the Hotel Elms in the 1920s. Eventually converted to long term rentals, it was torn down in early 1971 and converted into a parking lot.
